Terms and Conditions of the Rental Seal Trip Protection

By registering your trip for the Rental Seal Trip Protection, you agree to be subject to these terms and conditions.
- What Rental Seal Trip Protection Covers.
Rental Seal Trip Protection will cover the following claims for the amount that you actually lost or $5,000, whichever is lower:
- o A deposit or payment for a vacation rental that was issued our Rental Seal and that is found to be a fraudulent listing, in that the vacation rental home:
- Does not exist
- Exists but doesn't belong to the owner listed on the contract and therefore can not be used
- What Rental Seal Trip Protection Won't Cover.
The following are examples of claims that are not covered under the Rent with Confidence Guarantee program:
- o Any money disbursed to a legitimate property owner
- Airfare and all other travel costs
- o Any payments you made to anyone posing as the owner of a property after RentalSeal notified you that they are not the lawful owner.
- Steps to follow for the reimbursement.
You qualify for Rental Seal Trip Protection if you:
- Book a property that has our Rental Seal
- Have a contract with the verified property's owner
- Contract must be made to and signed by the owner listed on corresponded seal detail page.
- Register your reservation trip with the Rental Seal Trip Protection program on rentalseal.com
- Have proof of payment to the property owner. Cash payments, Western Union, MoneyGram and other transfer services are not eligible.
- Have proof that the listing is not legitimate
- Notify us of your loss within 4 days of the check in date on your contract
- Proof that you tried and were denied complete reimbursement for your loss from the owner, your bank or credit card issuer.
