About myself
Mi Casa Es Su Casa (My house is your house)
The above translated into english "My house is your house" is a lesson I learned from my Grandfather who raised me. My Grandfather & Grandmother raised me since my parents were unable to do so. Being brought up in "someone else's home" can have it's challenges.
Fortunately for me, I was able to learn what true hospitality was. My grandparents made me feel like their home was MY HOME! I didn't feel like an outside visitor in someone elses home. I always felt at home there. To this very day, my grandfather still tells me "Mi Casa Es Su Casa" whenever I have needed to stay at his home.
I want all my guests to feel at home when they visit my vacation rental. I try to supply it with all the needs someone might have on vacation. I don't want guest having to run to the store for basic staples that most homes have (i.e. , garbage bags, detergents, bathroom supplies). I also try to think of comforts like: blankets, extra pillows, beds/sheets that are welcoming and comfortable.
I want my guests to feel as if it is "their home" for the period of time they need it.
